Damn, this was brutal. And tough to listen to. A few minutes after the crash, she got up and walked away under her own power, and even gave an interview before she went to get X-rays on her back. I thought for sure she had at least broken a leg. Here’s Leigh Diffey with the call.

Ah, the Winter Olympics.
A strange mixture of the weird (curling, biathlon) and the seriously scary ( all those sliding very rapidly downhill events like bobsleigh and luge, but especially luge). Oh, and ski jumping. Ski jumping is awesome.
